Moritz Klatt Jazz vocals


Moritz Klatt, born in 1992, is currently studying jazz vocals at the Jazz Institute Berlin (UdK // HfM Hanns Eisler). After studying music education with a major in classical piano, he decided to pursue an artistic career. As a keyboardist and pianist for the band Zaunkönig, he was already a prize winner at the Treffen Junge Musikszene der Berliner Festspiele in 2014.

Also at the Berliner Festspiele, he was a prize winner of "Nahaufnahme" in 2018 as a singer and songwriter. On stage, he has already been heard as a soloist with the NDR Bigband (04/2019) and as a backing singer for the Rolling Stones (06/2014), among others. In addition, he has played with David Gilmore, Heinrich Köbberling, Andreas Schmidt, Sebastian Merk, Jim Black, Marc Muellbauer, Doug Weiss, Judy Niemack, Oliver Potratz, Esther Kaiser, Make a Move, and Fama M’Boup.
