He studied in Rome under Lina Pettinelli, at the "International Menuhin Music Academy" in Gstaad (Switzerland) under Alberto Lysy, at the University of the Arts in Berlin under Bruno Giuranna, and at the University of Music in Cologne with the Amadeus Quartet.

As a member of the Camerata Lysy, he performed at the most important international music festivals worldwide, both as a soloist and in chamber music ensembles, and collaborated with musicians such as Yehudi Menuhin, Antal Dorati, Aurèle Nicolet, Peter-Lukas Graf, Radu Aldulescu, and Ana Chumachenco.

Since 1993, he has been a violist in the orchestra of the Deutsche Oper Berlin, regularly performs in various chamber music ensembles, and is a co-founder of NoviTangoX4, a group dedicated mainly to tango and Argentine music. He has worked with artists such as Lina Sastri, Richard Galliano, Maximiliano Guerra, and Gustavo Beytelmann.

His encounter with jazz vibraphonist and composer Oli Bott was crucial, and they dedicated themselves to improvisation and founded the tango/jazz group Vibratanghissimo.
